The Kern County Latino COVID-19 Task Force is announcing three additional FREE COVID-19 testing sites as it continues to work toward increasing Kern County’s testing numbers and reaching the county’s outlining communities.
“We want our community to stay healthy and continue to be aware of the COVID-19 pandemic during this season,” said Jay Tamsi, co-founder of the Kern County Latino COVID-19 Task Force. “This virus is very real. As the holiday season approaches, it’s important to not get comfortable and ignore all the work we have made together in flattening the curve and reopening our economy.”
Tamsi added that the county is still required to meet state guidelines to remain at this stage of being open or to be moved forward. Among the key weekly benchmarks are increased testing results.
