The Kern County Latino COVID-19 Task Force in partnership with Kaiser Permanente , Adventist Health and Kern Family Health Care are set to provide FREE COVID-19 vaccines this week in order to strength our community’s defense against the COVID-19 virus.

“COVID-19 is still out there and we are dedicated to work with our community partners to strength our community’s defense against the virus. ,” said Jay Tamsi, Co-Founder of the Kern County Latino COVID-19 Task Force. “Currently, one case of the Delta variant has been reported in Kern County. It is estimated that the Delta variant is currently responsible for 30% of the United States’ current COVID-19 positive cases.”

The Task Force is encouraging residents 12 years and older to attend. Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson vaccine will be available at both events.

No appointment necessary to receive a FREE COVID-19 vaccine. First and second doses available in Pfizer or Johnson and Johnson.
